Massachusetts’ Rude Awakening and Bridge 9 Records have teamed up with B9 set to release RA’s debut 10 song full length this summer. Titled “Collateral Damage” these 10 songs were recorded at The Wild Artic in Portsmouth, NH with Dean Baltulonis who has worked with Agnostic Front, Modern Life Is War, Sick Of It All and many more in the past.

PUNK ISLAND NYC 2014

NEW YORK CITY'S LARGEST OUTDOOR, FREE, ALL AGES PUNK MUSIC FESTIVAL NEEDS YOUR HELP

Punk Island is a free all day punk music and culture event volunteer organized and run by reps from every facet of the NYC punk scene. 2014 sees another 90 plus band lineup in store with the organizers needing financial help to keep this event free as it has been in the past. The Kickstarter page created explains the details that include that all funds (as ALWAYS) will go towards the costs of putting on a free show in a NYC park and most importantly that the funds will not go to the organizers unless their financial goal is reached. In the case there was excess from the donations the money would go towards Punk Island 2015, or the bands… with the people behind this pointing out that they never have made/taken any money from putting on this event. FAHRENHEIT 451 WILL RE-UNITE ON JUNE 7TH IN BROOKLYN, NY FOR FIRST SHOW IN 6 YEARS

Fahrenheit 451 will return for at least one show on June 7th at Saint Vitus bar in Brooklyn, NY. F451 will headline with opening acts still to be announced. The band broke up in 2000 and the last time we saw them play was at the This Is Hardcore Festival in 2008. Band mainstays Armando, Frank, Lenny, Kevin and Ray all return making this a viable reunion with the bands core intact. Click the photo above for more information about the show.
