IN EFFECT'S FRESH BLOOD PAGE HAS A NEW ONE UP NOW WITH

FENCE CUTTER OUT OF PERTH AMBOY, NEW JERSEY

"We straight up just wanted to start a hardcore band. Also wanted to do a band just to get more friends and locals to come to shows. It was a goal to get shows back into Perth Amboy."

QUICK HITS:

NEW AGNOSTIC FRONT ALBUM!

AGNOSTIC FRONT have announced that their new 14 song album titled “Get Loud” will be released on November 8th on Nuclear Blast Records. This is the band's first new album since 2015's "The American Dream Died". "Get Loud" was recorded by Paul Miner at Buzz Bomb Studios in Orange, CA and was produced by AF frontman Roger Miret.

We caught up with AF bassist Mike Gallo and this is what he had to say about “Get Loud”…. “This record has a real thrashy vibe. Some stuff sounds like the “Cause For Alarm” era but with a more modern sound.  “Spray Painted Walls”, “Conquer And Divide”, “Dead Silence”, and “In My Blood” are thrashy songs. We will be doing videos for the songs, “Spray Painted Walls”, “I Remember” and possibly the title track. “I Remember” has more of a punk vibe as well as the song “Urban Decay”. There are also a lot of old school songs that take you back to the early years that have that “Victim In Pain”, “United Blood” vibe too. Songs like “Antisocial”, “Get Loud”, and “Attention”. Artwork by Sean Taggart too!”

UPSTATE RECORDS NEWS:

UPSTATE RECORDS is busy, filling its second half of 2019 with a steady release schedule.

Detroit's SMASH YOUR ENEMIES was recently signed and is hard at work finishing up their upcoming release in October.

IRON PRICE and DISSENT are hitting the studio for their next studio releases in September and October.

Alabama's FLAGBEARER have just completed vocals for their upcoming digital release in September.

KINGS NEVER DIE are working on their debut 4 song 7” which should be out this fall. Their track “Raise A Glass” will feature Agnostic Front’s Vinnie Stigma and Mike Gallo. KND make their live debut at NYC’s Niagra on Sep.15th.

Detroit’s ANTE UP have finished up five new songs and will be hitting the studio in early September. Expect to see their next release coming through in late 2019.

California's NAILED DOWN have compiled a full length release, set to drop in November 2019.

"THE BLOOD AND THE SWEAT: THE STORY OF SICK OF IT ALL’S KOLLER BROTHERS” is an upcoming book being worked on by author Howie Abrams. Look for it in stores in the Spring/Summer of 2020. We caught up with Howie recently to see how the progress with the book was going and here is what he offered up:

“While the story is being told straight from Lou and Pete's mouths, we're filling in some of the blanks with the voices of those the brothers have spent considerable time with over the years, from their parents, brothers, significant others and kids, to folks they've toured the world with such as Barney Greenway (Napalm Death), Kurt Brecht (D.R.I.), Gary Holt (Exodus, Slayer), Toby Morse (H20) and others. It's definitely not a sex, drugs and rock n' roll story, but more so one of perseverance, an unyielding work ethic and achieving seemingly unattainable longevity. Their supporters old and new will really appreciate it."

We also got a little snippet of what to expect from Sick of It All guitarist Pete Koller:

"When we started Sick of it All, we never even thought about there being a beginning or an end to the band, it kind of just kept happening. We started going to the shows at CBs and were like, Oh, look at these guys:  I mean, Vinnie Stigma, he’s great but he doesn’t REALLY know how to play, and I don't know how to play still (LAUGHS). But, let me write this song, and it was “My Life,” and here’s another one, “Friends Like You,” and we’re still playing these songs today. Everyone’s always like, whether it be my dad or one of my friends, How long do you guys think you’re gonna do this for? It's not like a job where there’s the goal of the golden watch and retiring. Why the fuck would I ever want to retire? I’m doing something that I absolutely love. It's like any other job; there's a routine and it can bore you to tears, but it is the greatest job. In the end, I just look forward to playing the shows, and I’m totally sincere when I say that. When the intro comes on over the PA, I'm ready to lose it. To me there is no end.". LONG ISLAND'S 64 TO RELEASE DEBUT 7" ON SEPTEMBER 19TH

64 are a relatively new band from Long Island, NY whose members all bring a NYHC pedigree to the table. Members of this band have been in Kill Your Idols, In Your Face, Madball, Mind Over Matter, and (literally) many more. Earlier in 2019 the band started digitally releasing songs via their Bandcamp page with their fifth track “Dead Ass Serious” being released in June. 64 have recently announced that they have started their own imprint called Building 93 Records which (at this time) exists to release the band’s music. Look for all 5 of these digitally released songs to be put out as a 7” vinyl EP on September 19th with plans already in the works for Northeast US show dates this fall. 64 brings a refreshing melodic hardcore/punk style with positive lyrics. Check out a video interview we did with them back in May by clicking HERE

SAINT LOUIS HARDCORE SCENE "ADOPTS A HIGHWAY"

File this one under SAINT LOUIS HARDCORE firsts or maybe the first ever for a hardcore scene? On August 17th members of the STLHC scene completed their first cleanup of their recently “adopted” highway in Overland, MO. James Carroll (guitarist of Time & Pressure) is the one who organized this ongoing cleanup event and we reached out to him to get some more of the story and here is what he had to say:

“I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing a scene adopted highway for like 5 years and I finally took the plunge last year and filed all the paperwork with MoDOT and we were able to do our first clean up this past weekend. MoDOT takes care of all the supplies as long as we do at least 4 clean ups a year over the course of the three year agreement. The turnout was a lot better than I had expected. The event page I made with all the info had a lot of people going and interested but I would’ve been happy with 5 people coming, but we ended up with 17 total, which blew my expectations away. Feedback from other cities has varied but its overall been pretty positive. The best part about all of this is putting a positive spotlight on St. Louis and seeing all of these other cities talking about organizing their own. There’s been some people making jokes about it and saying its dumb, but at least we’re doing SOMETHING other than talking shit on the internet and doing face drugs, right?”  Photo credit: Erica Carroll. Find out more about future cleanups by following the Gateway City Hardcore IG page HERE.  Photo by: Erica Carroll

Back in March NYC’s THE CAR BOMB PARADE released their “Opiate For The Madness” full length on Knuckle Down Records. This was the band’s third overall release since starting in 2014. With the Rev.Bullets back in the fold the band plans on releasing at least one new single by years end with an accompanying music video to show that the Car Bomb Parade machine never stops as they regain the momentum built up by their full length release form earlier this year. They are currently mapping out new cities to play as well as the possibility of shows outside the US so interested tour booking entities get in touch! QUICK HITS:

Back in April word came down that a settlement had been reached between the 2 factions that make up what we all know as the CRO-MAGS. As of August 1st John Joseph (vocals) and Mackie Jayson (drums) along with AJ Novello (guitar) and Craig Setari (bass) will be performing shows under the name Cro-Mags “JM” (John/Mackie). In that same April statement they also said that Cro-Mags “JM” will be working on a new studio album.

Cro-Mag bassist and founder Harley Flanagan who now has exclusive rights to the Cro-Mags name surprised many on June 28th with the digital release of “Don’t Give In”, a 3 song EP that will be released by Victory Records as a 7” on August 2nd. “Don’t Give In” is the first new Cro-Mags material in 19 years. Arising Empire will release the 7” in Europe which also has an August 2nd release date. Cro-Mags feature Flanagan on lead vocals/bass, guitarists Gabby Abularach, Rocky George (Suicidal Tendencies, Fishbone), and drummer Garry "G-Man" Sullivan.

Flanagan explains, “In late 2018 I went in to the studio to start working on a new Cro-Mags album. After recording the first few songs, I got a strange phone call in the middle of the night that turned out to be from Tony Brummel of Victory Records. I thought it was a prank call; it turned out not to be, and I worked out record deals with Victory and Arising Empire in Europe. One of the many things that make me happy about signing with Victory and Arising Empire is that they are genuinely fans of my music and know the history; they are not just labels trying to make money off us or the genre. I know that I am working with the best team, and the best musicians to launch the next era of Cro-Mags. The “Don’t Give In” track listing is as follows: “Don’t Give In”, “Drag You Under”, and “No One’s Victim”. ALL 3 songs can be streamed now by clicking on the blue hyperlinks listed. Cro-Mags have 3 upcoming shows with the Misfits starting on September 7th (Denver), September 11th (Oakland) and September 14th (Seattle) before doing a 10 date run into Europe that starts on September 27th.

Leeway NYC photo by: Danielle Dombrowski

Back in March of 2015 LEEWAY frontman and co-founder Eddie Sutton took the stage at the now defunct Grand Victory in Brooklyn, NY playing under the name “The Eddie Leeway Show” to play a collection of Leeway’s greatest songs./hits to a packed house that went ballistic when given the chance to go off for classic tracks off of Leeway’s first two albums. April 14th's lineup consisted of The Undead, Razor Blade Hand Grenade, Drunken Rampage, Rapid Deployment, Enziguri and No Compromise and was a free show. LA's 21 Gun Salute jumped up to play 2 songs at the end of RBHG's set as well. May 5th is the next scheduled show at Niagra and will have Stigma, Dead Blow Hammer (Record Release), Silence Equals Death, Caught In A Trap and Crazy Eddie. On Sunday June 9th the 3rd show will have Antidote, Murderers Row, Ache, End Of Hope and Crippled Earn. Click HERE for more info on the May 5th show.

It’s not often (or ever) when you see a band come along and be able to say that their lineup came together from NY, New Jersey, Long Island, Colombia and Argentina as well as have members who have played in Youth Of Today, Bold and Mouthpiece but that is exactly what the newly formed LOCKED INSIDE can honestly say. The recently formed straight edge band have 2 songs available online now in "A Force United" and "Your Thoughts, Your Own" which are precursors to an upcoming EP that is already completed. All of Locked Inside’s members will be NY residents as of June with local shows as well as touring planned for the summer of 2019. In our last update we told you that NYC'S SWORN ENEMY will have a new album out on April 5th titled "Gamechanger". The band has since dropped the first sneak peek to this new album in the form of a lyric video titled "Prepare For Payback" which you can check out HERE.

Germany's BORN FROM PAIN have their new album "True Love" out now on BDHW Records and with the release date also comes the release of a 3rd music video from this new full length.  Check out the video for the title track "True Love" HERE. Boston’s AMERICAN WAR MACHINE first came to our attention with their 3 song “Prey Drive” EP which came out on Bridge 9 Records in October of 2017. On April 12th they will release their debut full length “Unholy War” which will have 12 songs and once again be on the B9 label. The band consists of scene veterans led by Truth who used to sing for Intent To Injure as well as Slapshot members Craig Silverman (guitar), Ryan Packer (bass), and Corey Koniz (drums). Many probably recognize Craig as one half of Agnostic Front’s guitar duo alongside Stigma. Check out the title track to their upcoming album by clicking HERE. If you like what you hear pre-order information for this release can be found HERE

Belgium's COLDSTARE have put out a video for the title track of their "Bounce Back" full length which came out last year on WTF Records. Go HERE to check it out.

The band has already put up a few of the songs from this EP on their You Tube page including the track "Imperious" which their bassist Rob Kabula (ex-Agnostic Front/Cause For Alarm) revived from way, way back. Check out "Imperious" HERE and then stay on the DBH You Tube page to hear two other tracks from that upcoming EP in "Caste System Skunks" and "Dents".

POINTBREAK from Phoenix just finished recording their new 4 song EP titled "Forsaken" which will be released by Irish Voodoo Records. When we heard this would be a concept album we asked their singer Martin Miramontes to tell us more... "This will be a concept album based off my childhood traumas. It's basically talking about my mind being a "home with different rooms". Every room is a different issues that I have dealt with. One is sexual assault. One is physical/emotional/mental abuse. My mom leaving me. And the last room is my trust issues I have towards relationships because of my past." Pointbreak will also be doing a West Coast tour from May 17th through the 26th with Albuquerque's Lucia. "Forsaken" will be available on 7", cassette, CD and digitally this spring. Check out the video for their song “Pointbreak” which came out last August HERE

QUICK HITS:

H20's Toby Morse has started up his own podcast which is named after his non-profit organization called "One Life One Chance". The first official episode came out on January 28th and runs over an hour long and features his mother... Linda Morse. Future episodes look to include his H20 bandmates as well as Rancid's Tim Armstrong, Moby, and skateboarders Christian Hosoi and Steve Caballero. "Real, authentic and non-scripted conversations between Toby and his friends, family and personal heroes- all of whom have had a real impact on his life" is the podcasts self description. Check it out HERE.

Sticking to podcast news DIABLO'S DEN which is hosted by Crown Of Thornz/Skarhead frontman Lord Ezec (and Jay Reason) released their 3rd episode which had on guests Kaves and Med who are both well known old-school NYC graffiti writers. Both guests are also known in other areas with Kaves being in the hip-hop group Lordz Of Brooklyn and Med with Tuff City Tattoos in the Bronx. This was an interesting episode to check out as Ezec uses his insight/knowledge from beyond the hardcore scene to create an episode that should have a broad appeal. Jay Reason is a solid co-host that keeps the train on the tracks and the fact that it is all on video that you can watch along to adds to the overall entertainment value. This episode runs 1:22 and I watched this one all the way through. Click HERE to check it out.

THE BROOKLYN BLAST FURNACE is hard at work with some noteworthy episodes since the new year started. I recently checked in on episode 86 which had a nearly 90 minute interview with Mike Ferraro from Judge done in a Montvale, NJ diner. This episode proved to have some very interesting stories, some I have read or heard about in the past, some were brand new. A really good episode that kept my attention throughout. Just before we went to post this info episode 87 of Blast Furnace has been released and has Civ from Gorilla Biscuits/Civ and Jules Massee from Side By Side and Alone In A Crowd talking about the upcoming reunion/benefit show for Alone In A Crowd guitarist Howie Wallen who is facing some serious health issues. A sold out benefit show is being held for him on February 16th in Philadelphia. Blast Furnace is available on most streaming sites with Soundcloud being the one I find the easiest to use.

NY's SWORN ENEMY have announced they will be releasing a new album titled "Gamechanger" on April 5th. Salem Rose Music & M-Theory Audio based in Las Vegas will release the 11 song full length that was produced by Machine Head's Robb Flynn. This will be Sworn Enemy's first new album since their "Living On Borrowed Time" album which came out in 2014. Look for a record release show on Friday April 26th at the Kingsland in Brooklyn, NY and another on the 28th in Brockton, MA. Keep up to date with all things Sworn Enemy by checking in HERE. "The new album is savage. Now it's time to get back out on the road and show everyone how great it is!" Sal LoCoco, vocals-Sworn Enemy.

Irish Voodoo Records have scooped up Fullerton CA's CHEMICAL X and will be putting out their 6 song release from March of 2017 on 7" vinyl later this year. The EP was originally released digitally with some limited cassettes available from the band. The new version will have updated artwork (which you can see above) to "pay homage to our roots and our friends who have supported us" according to their drummer Martin. Keep an eye on the Irish Voodoo website for release dates/ordering info. Chemical X has had an interesting start to 2019 having played a punk rock food drive on January 19th with JFA and Reagan Youth being the headliners. At this show in Garden Grove, CA there was a melee with Nazi skinheads that the OC Weekly out of Orange County has a pretty detailed account of. Check it out HERE. Right after this show Chemical X singer Eddie was hospitalized for a few days after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Get well soon Eddie! Check out the 2017 EP out by clicking HERE. Chemical X has new songs written and ready to record so look for a full length coming along not too far behind the 7".

Flatspot Records recently sent in the new SECTION H8 EP titled "Phase 1". This new Los Angeles based band formed in 2018 and this release came out in November of last year on Bandcamp. Now comes word that Flatspot will be releasing this on 7" vinyl and on all digital platforms on March 29th. Within the Flatspot email included quotes from Section H8 frontman Mexi that stated "I was inspired to write these songs due to my disgust with the current state of society"... and "angry, raw, gross, negative hardcore punk music played by a gang of close friends who move as a unit". The quotes and cover artwork were enough to catch my attention and the music matches the intensity of Mexi's words. Check out "Phase 1" HERE and keep an eye on the Flatspot page for ordering info as we get closer to this EP's release date.

FREEDOM SOUNDWORKS has just released a very interesting compilation called CLASSICS vs CLASSICS II which features hardcore punk bands doing 2 cover songs each. The idea was to have each band cover a hardcore/punk classic and then cover a song by more well-known bands from the world of Rock ‘N Roll and beyond! The Maniac Inside cover Warzone’s “Always A Friend For Life” and then “Taking Care Of Business” by Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Become One does “Everyone Wants To Rule The World” by Tears For Fears, and also “Scuffle Town” by Avail. Those are just two examples but to find out more about this online only compilation click HERE You may be pretty surprised at the remainder of the lineup which includes The Avoiders, Agony Kings, One Less Scumbag, Reason Enough, and Be Gone doing songs by:Reagan Youth, The Kinks, Sick Of It All, DRI, RUN DMC, Cro-Mags, and more. Pipebomb is the only band that does one song and it is “Urban Discipline” by Biohazard that features Biohazard drummer Danny Schuler playing drums on his own song! On February 17th there will be a free show out on Long Island featuring some of the bands on this compilation. The show will also serve as a release party for the new compilation. Find out more about Freedom Soundworks HERE.

REST IN PEACE ALEX BROWN

Alex Brown who played in Gorilla Biscuits, Side By Side, Project X, and was behind the very influential Schism Fanzine passed away late last week due to what some media outlets have called natural causes at the age of 52. I cannot say that I knew the man but his music and those old Schism zines were a big influence on the early stages of In Effect Fanzine and for this I am very grateful. Thank you for your creative work and dedication Alex.

From Bad Brains" and "The Merciless Book Of Metal Lists" has begun work on an autobiography of Sick Of It All's Koller Brothers titled "The Blood And The Sweat: The Story Of Sick Of It All's Koller Brothers". The book is scheduled to be out in the fall of 2019. We asked Howie to give us a little bit more on his mindset about working with Lou and Pete on this new book and he gave us this: 5 Things I Already Know About Working on Lou and Pete Koller’s Book:
1. They’re friends of mine, so there’s a lot of extra responsibility that comes with this one.
2. They’re one of the greatest hardcore bands ever, so there’s a lot of extra responsibility that comes with that.
3. I want the SOIA story to be told, but I really want people to learn about Lou and Pete’s lives as individuals and as blood siblings.
4. They’re both funnier than you think.
5. They’ve gone through A LOT to get to this point!

NEW INTERVIEW WITH KEVIN CARTER FROM SAINT LOUIS' BETTER DAYS

"Probably the coolest out of town show Better Days has played was on the side of a levy in New Orleans. It literally was on the banks of a levy that broke during Hurricane Katrina so everything was desolate and trashed. It was insane, we played with a couple of crust-punk bands so a lot of that type of crowd was there and we got a good reception from them because we play fast and they were into it. My favorite things about that show was that there were dogs wearing bandanas running between us while we were playing and because there were all these crust punk and squatter kids we got partially paid in loose change."

QUICK HITS:

RICHMOND'S BREAK AWAY BREAKING UP WITH LAST SHOW IN FEBRUARY 2019

Richmond, VA’s BREAK AWAY will be breaking up with their last show being February 23rd, 2019 at the Warehouse in RVA. Lineup for this last show to be announced December 3rd. We got in touch with Ace Stallings (singer for Break Away) to get some more info on why this breakup is happening and here is what he had to say…

“In regards to Break Away retiring… Break Away has been a band for 8 years. We have put out 2 LP’s, 2 7”s, played almost every hardcore festival, have toured most of America many times over and toured Europe twice. It’s time for us to make some room for some other bands to rise up and fill our spot. Bands do the scene a disservice when they occupy a space just to occupy it. We have said everything we need to say in regards to our content. We successfully continued the legacy of Richmond straight edge, helped usher in a new wave of bands here and experienced things that some people merely dream about. We are all still best friends and will all be continuing to play in other bands together. Our retirement is a positive one.” Check out our August 2017 interview with Break Away by clicking HERE

While still on the topic of Break Away, THE VERDICT are a new Richmond, VA band that have 4 out of the 5 members of Break Away as well as 8 other people involved from bands like Red Vision, Downfall, Neuromancer, Shattered Xistence and Watchdogs. On Halloween they put out a 6 song release titled “Hostis Humani Generis” on Bandcamp with Edgewood Records to follow up shortly with cassette versions of this release. Click on their photo to the left to listen to it now.

Maine’s COMBATANT just put out a new one in “Witness To Destruction” which is 9 new songs available now on their Bandcamp page. Not Like You Records/Fanzine out of ABQ, New Mexico will be releasing “Witness…” this January on 12” blue vinyl limited to just 100 copies. Check these guys out! As for the fanzine side of Not Like You they are currently working on two new issues… the first being an all photo issue followed by issue #8 which will have an old unpublished Circle Jerks interview from the 1980’s that was never published, NJ’s Search and Bobby Draws Skullz who is this sick artist based on the East Coast. New Jersey’s SILENCE EQUALS DEATH are back with a new song and video for the track “Plague” which is part of a 4 song/band 7” compilation on Patient Zero Records going under the title of “Spreading The Infection” due out November 30th. The Broken (Albany, NY), Panzram (Upstate NY) and One Less Scumbag (NH) round out the 4 band lineup for Patient Zero’s debut release. A compilation release show will be held on November 30th in Pittsfield, MA that both Panzram and Silence Equals Death will both be performing at. As for the “Plague” video, check that out HERE. With well over 50 cameos you are bound to see a familiar face or two from the world of hardcore music.

In our October 20th update we mentioned that the “URBAN STYLES, GRAFFITI IN NEW YORK HARDCORE” book was headed for a second expanded edition that will include a limited edition flexi-7” with 1 song each from both Crazy Eddie and Johatsu. The Crazy Eddie track titled “Urban Styles” can now be heard by clicking HERE. The books author Freddy Alva wrote the graffiti inspired lyrics to this song and approached the band about performing the song using his lyrics. Artwork by Orlando Arce, intro by Lord Ezec from Crown Of Thornz/Skarhead with the video montage produced by Adobo Productions. While on the topic of Crazy Eddie, their guitarist Lenny B runs a pretty cool vlog called “Cocktails And Conversations with Lenny B” which was just updated with its first new episode in a while titled “British Invasion”. Check it out HERE

NOWHERE ROADS are a new band out of NJ/PA who have that familiar “current and former members of” label attached to them with the names Wisdom In Chains, Floorpunch and Edgewise being the names that jump out at you. Formed in late 2017 they are now ready to strike with their debut 4 song EP titled “Toil Every Second” due out on December 14th on Coin Toss Records. “Uncivilized” is one of the new tracks off the new EP and you can check it out now by clicking HERE. Their first show will be on December 16th in Scranton, PA with fellow CoinTosser’s Sunstroke and they are also slated to play the Alone In A Crowd reunion/benefit show in Philadelphia on February 16th along with Terror, Pagan Babies, Maximum Penalty, Break Away (last Philly show), Search and Let Down

NYC punk/hardcore/thrash 3 piece FRAGMENTED will release their new 8 song effort titled “Thrashblast” on November 30th, a date that will also see them play a free show in Queens, NY dubbed “Queens Vs The World”. This release show will also feature Scarboro, The Third Kind, Ruin By Design, Skum City, and Crisis King. Details on this show can be found HERE. “Thrashblast” is tabbed as a digital release to be found on their Bandcamp page but limited CD copies will be available at the November 30th show. Four additional NYC/Long Island shows are booked after this show throughout the end of January and they are looking for more. Their bassist/singer Tom Reardon books shows in Queens and is looking for people to book Fragmented and for “show trades” with other bands. “In The Presence Of” is the new tune that they are pushing ahead of the release date and you can hear that track by clicking on the "Thrashblast" cover.

Back in December 2016 we did a Fresh Blood feature on these Belgium dudes called “SUNDAYS”. At the time we called them “the best Bridge 9 band not on Bridge 9 Records”. Word comes now that they are working on a new 4 song EP that will start recording in mid-December at Shellshock Studio with mixing and mastering being handled by Jay Maas who used to play guitar in Defeater (another Bridge 9 tie in!) The 4 song EP will be released digitally in early 2019 and later on in the year there are plans for a vinyl version as well. Check out their “Words” 7 song EP from 2015 HERE

RYKERS 2018

Germany’s RYKERS recently announced they are working on new material. We hit up their bass player Chris Luft to get some info and this is what he had to say…“Besides numerous EP’s/Mini LP’s and 7”s this will be our full length album number 6. It will be titled: “The Beginning…” and right now we plan to have 14 songs on it, totally mixing up old-school hardcore, punk rock, metal and our well known NYHC edge. We are going to record at Andy Classen’s (ex-Holy Moses) Stage One Studio and will release the album (April/May 2019) on Beatdown Hardware Records (BDHW). I`m pretty much looking forward to record the new tunes and I am sure a lot of people will be surprised. With our newly added guitar player Steve (who formerly played in the German thrash outfit EROSION) we definitely added some more brutal riffing to the band… stay tuned!”

DON’T SLEEP have a new video out now in “Lazarus”, SLASHERS are a NYC skate band we recently found out about. They have a pretty cool video in “Skatecation” that came out back in February. Their debut full length will be out in early 2019 as well. “MORE STAGE DIVES” is a new podcast out of NYC with hosts Ryan (singer of Ache) and Hil (singer of None Above All). 4 episodes to date. Check ‘em out! ANGEL DU$T dive deeper into their unique vibe with two new songs in “Big Ass Love” and “Take Away The Pain”. Our next update will have H2O’s Adam Blake with a “20 Questions With” interview, working on another one with Chicago’s LA ARMADA and In Effect’s year end wrap up is in the works as well.
